Role Summary/Purpose:
Identify, develop & execute new strategic engineering services opportunities across India and rest of the world (RES). Opportunities will include business proposal submittal (principally) along with building partnerships & strategic alliances.
Purposes of the role are:
* to work closely within the Head of Company’s Engineering to lead and drive technical proposals during bidding phase as per business & specific projects requirements for the region,

* work with JV counterpart in Italy or India
Description of Essential Responsibilities:
The Business Development manager demonstrates strong technical leadership to meet the business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible to develop and follow-up on technical proposals for all business segments within the Energy and/or O&G Industries in compliance with International Standards.
You shall coordinate with internal functions like Engineering, Sales and Staffing teams to successfully resolve technical matters related to specific customer project specifications for bids.
You shall be responsible to support carrying out technical negotiations with customer from early conceptual project stage until commencement of project execution.
You shall be responsible to define the proposal cost base and deliver the project to execution team with the highest quality by ensuring all technical and safety triggers have been mitigated.
You shall champion the company new services initiatives and drive growth by influencing and working with customers at early project stage.
You shall be able to work autonomously, taking lead in developing complex solutions, under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Qualifications/Requirements Candidates must possess the following:
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemistry
Good knowledge of Energy and/or O&G market and enabling technologies.
Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in Companies active within the Business Markets.
Basic Financial skills
Good presentation skills, both with direct supervisors and Customers
Excellent English
Available to travel at short notice
Experience for India based BD
• Extensive understanding of Indian Energy services industry
• Demonstrated commercial acumen & quantitative skills
• Excellent, demonstrated project management/leadership skills
• Strong leadership & advanced influencing skills
